The Raplab CNC Workshop allows researchers to realize complex units and projects independently. With our sizeable flatbed milling machine, workpieces up to 1.25m x 2.5m x 0.4m can be machined, allowing larger structures, like pavilions, landscape models, and the simulation of complex processes.

Access

The CNC workshop bridges the gap between model and prototype building and is only accessible for those trained on on the machinery. Ph.D. students, researchers, or projects of the teaching staff/chairs.

CNC Workshop Rules

Always run through the appropriate checklists before starting a machine (Zund mill and Multicam)
Eye and ear protections must be worn During automatic machine operation
No headphones to be worn during automatic machine operation

Consultations

Please get in touch with the workshop manager for project consultation and planning well in advance to avoid unnecessary scheduling conflicts and ensure the availability of the machines and training units.
