Who decides on the opening hours?
The Raplab develops its opening hours in close collaboration with all chairs that have a Group Raplab Representative. The opening hours for the upcoming semester are drafted by the Raplab and sent to the Group for approval at least 3 months before the semester starts.
How does the planning of the Raplab Opening hours work?
Who decides on the priorities towards the end of the semester (2nd year, studio, diploma)?
This rule was enforced by the Director of Studies in 2022 and serves as a guideline for chairs to adjust their semester schedules. The Raplab communicates the priorities, but does not enforce them.
Can the Raplab be opened additionally?
Yes! Chairs can request special days up to three months in advance of the start of the semester. After that period, the chairs have the opportunity to supervise the students and open the Raplab for their studio. Chairs must provide qualified personnel (no student helpers) who have been trained for this purpose.
